✅ Customize each cover letter individually
A generic cover letter probably won’t get you anywhere. Just like your CV, your German cover letter needs to be completely tailored to the job you’re applying for. This is your chance to express why you’re the ideal candidate for a specific position in a specific company.
Use the job description as a guide and design your cover letter to list the key skills and experience the employer is looking for.

Almost all applications in Germany are now submitted electronically. When applying by email, make sure that your German cover letter and CV are saved in PDF format, clearly named and attached separately to your application email.
